The Attic
More insulation can be added in your attic by simply blowing additional insulation on top of the existing blown or batt insulation. The increase in R-value is determined by the depth of the finished product.
Having the approximate square footage of the attic space available at the time you call us will enable us to quote you an approximate cost for the application you choose.
Drywalled Exterior/Interior Walls
Many older homes have little or no insulation in the exterior or interior walls. We provide insulation service for sheet-rocked walls where holes would need to be drilled and the wall-space filled with blown insulation. Each job is viewed on a case by case basis. Please be aware that some wall systems may not be insulated by drill and fill.
Home Additions
Adding one or more rooms to your existing house will call for insulation in the exterior walls and interior walls (for sound-reduction, if you choose). The R-value will be based on the size of the studs in the wall-space. You may choose the R-value that is per code of the county in which you live (the minimum thickness), or upgrade the insulation thickness (increases the R-value), to what the wall-space will allow. Discuss this with your contractor.
