• Fiberglass is composed principally of natural ingredients such as sand and recycled glass products like windows and beverage bottles. 
• The ingredients are melted and spun to create tiny strands of fiberglass. 
• Fiberglass is the most widely used home insulator, and is also used to reduce noise transfer room to room.  
• Fiberglass is made in batts and blown forms.
